About the Summit
This pre-Juneteenth summit will explore the rich legacy and heritage of Africans and African-Americans from 1619-2019 and examine the history of Texas and its impact of slavery. An original copy of the General Order number 3 will be on display for our opening reception. This three-day event is free to the public. All guest and attendees must be registered to attend this event. There will be options for you to purchase your lunch and a ticket for a highlight tour of Dallas and historic local sites. Even though this is an African-American focused summit, all races, and ethnic groups are welcomed to attend.
How to Register
Registration is available through Eventbrite. General admission is free. Tickets for the bus tour and luncheon must be purchased separately. The Bus Tour of Dallas (June 7) is $35. The Luncheon is $35.
